what should i do to fix computer?

I recently built a custom computer and seem to be having some problems so just wondering how much it would cost to get this thing running like it should
first problem was i guess i installed win7 with bad ram cause it failed memtest and stupid me didnt put stand offs in case just screwed mobo right to case and had it like this for a week or so and just took everythin apart and put them in but stil same problems, so i dont know if i fried my mobo and need to rma it and my ram or what
comp still boots up and emailing you now but will occasionly crash and i paid to much to have this pain in the ass
i also tried reinstalling win7 with the one good stick of ram (had 2x2gb 1 failed memtest 1 passed) and still same problems

genuine copy of windows 7 64bit
and usb keyboard usb wireless mouse and a 24″ asus lcd 1080p widescreen monitor
yes i have original oem win7 64 bit install disc with genuine key,
and as for the bios i checked them and the only thing not right is the ram voltage is 1.6v and my ram recomends 1.5v but i was told that wouldnt make it fail memtest, i was wondering if i fried my motherboard by not having standoffs in case if that could cause memtest failure because i tested both sticks of ram one passed and one failed then i reinstalled win7 with good stick of ram that passed memtest but yet im still getting bsod’s

Hello, i want to build a new pc for gaming, programming and video and audio editing, i’m not going to attempt to overclock it.
i made a list with the components i want and i want your opinions:
CPU : i5 2500K
CPU Cooler : one of Thermaltake or Cooler Master, i’m confused
Motherboard: one of the 2: Gigabyte or ASUS with the new Z68 chipset
Graphics Card: ASUS Geforce GTX 560 Ti TOP
RAM : 8GB G.SKILL CL7 RipJaws PC3-10666 KIT
PSU : Cooler Master or Crosair? and how many Watts would it be good for these components?
H.D.D. : 1 – 2 TB
Keyboard : Razer BlackWidow Ultimate
Mouse : Razer Naga Molten Special Edition
Monitor : 24″ LED or LCD? Samsung or ASUS?
DVD Writer : which one would be good?
for the case i am totally confused between the Cooler Master HAF – X and the Thermaltake Level 10 GT?
if there are somethings you think it would be better to be replaced write it please.

Ok, i think i won’t go for the new Z68 chipset instead choose one of the P67 chipsets. which mobo would be better, asus or gigabyte and which model? i may think of overclocking but for now i won’t.
for the memory, is there going to be a defferince between 1600mhz cl9 and 1333mhz cl7?

black screen of death?

I been having the black screen of death when the blue screen of death started to happen.
I am using Window xp home.I reformatted my hard drive many times to fix it. i think i fixed the Blue screen problem cuz of faulty ram but the black screen of death is still there. I was doing a memtest for my ram to see if it was faulty and the black screen showed up. Sometimes it shows it at random times. Like when i was reformatting my Hard drive i have to keep restarting computer. After the Black screen my computer restarts but the screen doesnt show anything accept No signal. I have to reseat my Ram or wait 15~30 mins so i the screen would work again. The motherboard , Graphic card, and Processor is new. Only been using it less than a month and the ram is only 1 year old. i took out the graphic card and now using the onboard.
